Short Review – Meantime Brewery Greenwich

Meantime Greenwich boasts a cafe, bar and restaurant as well as a microbrewery – the beer menu is huge and the food is mainly British gastro-pub fayre.  The restaurant dining room is large and dominated by beer stills and a giant beer bottle structure.  I had the cod and chips which were well cooked, the cod fresh and succulent, encased in crispy batter.   All the components of the fish stew ordered by my friend were well cooked but the dish was spoiled by being served in a saffrony puddle.  The cheese board looked very good and could be matched with specific beers on request.  It is definitely worth a visit and the beer tasting dinner  sounds very interesting (see We  Food’s blog at the link below).
